Terms & Conditions

  1. The prize is 4 free seats on a dedicated flight operated by Loch Lomond Seaplanes, which will fly over the Cowal Way and Argyll’s scenic West Coast.
  2. The tickets will be awarded in pairs. Therefore both winners will bring a partner.
  3. The value of the prize is almost £320 per couple.
  4. The competition prize is being sponsored by the Cowal Way, a long distance tourism path located in Argyll and the Isles.
  5. The competition is not open to family and relations of the Cowal Way, Colintraive and Glendaruel Development Trust, and Argyll and the Isles Tourism Co-operative or their members.
  6. The flight will take place at Cameron House, Loch Lomond on Saturday 13th May 2017 at 1.15pm. Winners must be able available to fly on this day, arrive by 12.45pm, and also be able to make their own way there and back again. Passengers will be airborne for almost one hour, and will also receive a complimentary glass of champagne and a Cowal Way Guide Book.
  7.  If any winner is not available to fly on this day, the prize will be awarded to someone else. Cowal Way or its partners will not be able to offer a cash alternative to this prize.
  8. If the flight is cancelled by the flight operator (e.g. due to bad weather), winners will have the opportunity to book another flight directly with the flight operator, and this must be taken within a six month period (i.e. prior to 13th November 2017).
  9. Unfortunately for safety reasons, there is a weight limit on passengers, up to a maximum of 22 stones.
  10. Again, for safety reasons, passengers must be able to board and disembark the seaplane without any assistance.
  11. The minimum height for any passenger is 1 metre.
  12. Any minors (i.e. under the age of 18 years) must be accompanied by an adult.
  13. The draw will take place on Friday 28 April 2017. Winners will be notified on the same day.
